🟣

We understand that parents and carers want to offer support the best possible support to their children, but that can be easier said than done! Young people entering the world of work have an astonishing range of options available to them and some difficult decisions to make. These resources from Future Goals have been designed to provide you with the information needed to begin having conversations about their next steps.

EXPLORING CAREERS

🟢🟣🔵 Use the ‘Skillsometer’ below to discover the type of job role you might be interested in pursuing after you leave school. At the end you’ll be given some suggested careers and information about what the job involves and how much you might be paid. It works best on a laptop or a tablet, it may not be easy to see on your phone.

🟢🟣🔵 Maybe you already have an idea of the sort of job you’d like to do. If so, you can use the ‘Careerometer’ to compare jobs to the UK average or other jobs. There’s lots of information on each card so if any of it doesn’t make sense please reach out to your teacher for help.
